Hello Traders,

If you're like me, you've experienced both wins and losses in your trading journey.

Over time, I've honed my approach and established four key rules that allow me to win more and lose less.

Today, I'm sharing these rules with you:

Rule 1) Only take a maximum of 2 to 3 high-quality trades:

Whenever I trade more than 2 or 3 times, I begin to feel greedy and become vulnerable to emotional trading.

Emotions have no business in trading, and emotional trading makes you lose more.

Rule 2) If I lose $1,000 in a day, stop trading for the day:

It's natural to feel angry after losing a lot of money, so this rule stops me from revenge trading and trading with my emotions.

Anytime I lose a large amount of money, I feel the urge to make it back quickly.

This makes me ignore my trading strategy, which causes me to lose even more money. This rule stops that.

Rule 3) Set weekly profit targets, not daily:

Having a daily profit target is not a good measure of success because it is very inconsistent.

I can have a great performance on one day and a terrible performance on the next.

Having a larger time frame target is a better metric of success because it keeps your performance on track over time.

It also reduces pressure to force trades on days when market conditions aren't good because you can make up the profit target another day.

Rule 4) Stop trading after my weekly target is achieved:

Once I've achieved my weekly targets, I do not trade until the following week. This is where discipline is crucial.

It's important to think of trading in months and years and to approach it with a business mindset.

If you measure your success in days, you cannot reach financial freedom with trading.

By sticking to a set of well-defined rules and maintaining a disciplined mindset, you can navigate the markets with confidence and work toward achieving your financial goals.
